Holy Face Devotion

From 1843-1848 Jesus appeared to Sr Marie de St Peter in Tours, France in private revelations. Her life story and messages from Jesus can be found in The Golden Arrow book which has a Nihil Obstat and Imprimatur. Jesus told Sr Marie that reparation needed to be done by mankind especially for the sins of blasphemy and profanations of Sundays and Holy Days of Obligation. He told her this could be done by offering His Holy Face back to the Father. Many, many miracles have been associated with this devotion. A series of prayers and messages were given to Sr Marie, some which are listed below, from The Golden Arrow. Jesus also first stressed how crucial it was to honor the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, and that these two hearts should never be separated by souls. THE GOLDEN ARROW PRAYER
MAY THE MOST HOLY, MOST SACRED, MOST ADORABLE, MOST INCOMPREHENSIBLE AND UNUTTERABLE NAME OF GOD BE ALWAYS PRAISED, BLESSED, LOVED, ADORED AND GLORIFIED, IN HEAVEN, ON EARTH AND UNDER THE EARTH*, BY ALL THE CREATURES OF GOD, AND BY THE SACRED HEART OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST, IN THE MOST HOLY SACRAMENT OF THE ALTAR. Amen.

*Jesus said in the hells to Sr Marie, not under the Earth. When she clarified with Him that He meant in the hells He said His yes, in the hells because Justice was also glorified there.
Some of the messages and excerpts Jesus gave to Sr Marie de St Peter from 1843-1848 from The Golden Arrow book.
“My name is everywhere blasphemed! There are even children that blaspheme!” (August 26th, 1843)
He then made me see that this frightful sin sounds His Divine Heart more grievously than all other sins, showing me how by blasphemy the sinner curses Him to His Face, attacks Him publicly, nullifies his redemption, and pronounces his own judgment and condemnation.
Our Lord then made me visualize the act of blasphemy as a poisoned arrow continually wounding His Divine Heart. After that He revealed to me that He wanted to give me a “Golden Arrow” which would have the power of wounding Him delightfully, and which would also heal those other wounds inflicted by the malice of sinners.
Sr Marie said Jesus told her satan would do all in his power to crush and annihilate this work, but that all his efforts would prove in vain.
(Nov 1843) A chaplet to the Holy Face is created which honors Jesus’ 5 senses and quotes Psalm 67, “Arise Oh Lord, and let Your enemies be scattered, and let those that hate You, flee before Your Face.”
(Feb 1884) Jesus designates St Michael, St Louis and St Martin as special patrons of the Work and that praying daily
Our Father Hail Mary and Glory Be and reciting, “Lord, let Your Face shine on us and we shall be saved,” also reciting the Golden Arrow Prayer, and on Sundays and Feast days additional prayers, (see the “Prayer” section on this website for more info). Jesus also requested for us to wear a special cross, engraved, “Blessed Be the Name of God,” on one side, other side, on the other side, “Begone satan.” Each time he hears a blasphemy he repeats those inscriptions thus to overcome the evil one and render glory to God. Oct 28, 1845 Feast of St Jude, (this saint is depicted holding a Holy Face) Jesus told Sr Marie de St Peter, “Just as in an earthly kingdom money which is stamped with the picture of the sovereign or ruling executive of the country procures whatever one desires to purchase, so likewise in the Kingdom of Heaven, you shall obtain all that you desire by offering the coin of My precious Humanity which is My adorable Face.”
Nov 1845 Jesus made Sr Marie of St Peter understand that the Holy Face is like a Divine Stamp reproducing the Image of God in souls.
March 1846 Jesus shows Sr Marie de St Peter that St Dismas, the good thief, made a last minute public act of Reparation obtaining forgiveness, which is a model for priests to imitate His bold and open defense of the Saviour’s cause on Calvary. “Those who embrace this Work with true piety will not be lost, for I Myself will defend them before My Father and I will give them the Kingdom of Heaven. I will grant them the grace of final perseverance.
Nov 1846 the treasure of His Holy Face is of such tremendous value that through it all matters can be settled
